Although Heroes Headquarters has taken reasonable steps to provide participants with appropriate environment, equipment and skilled staff, I accept and acknowledge that there are risks, hazards and dangers associated with all indoor and outdoor experiential learning activities. I understand Heroes Headquarters does not want to frighten me or reduce my enthusiasm for these activities, but believes it is important for me to understand that some risks are inherent in these activities and cannot be eliminated or reduced.
I further acknowledge that this risk may involve loss or damage to my child or my child's property, including the risk of death, or other unforeseen circumstances. I hereby release, waive liability, discharge, hold harmless, indemnify, and covenant not to sue Heroes Headquarters, the property owner, any individual staff or volunteer leaders against any liability, demand, claim, loss or lawsuit arising out of personal injuries to my child and/or to anybody and /or property damage arising out of or caused by my child's negligent act or omission during the course of event.
In the event of an injury to my child, I authorise the Company to arrange for my child to receive first aid, medical or surgical treatment as may deem necessary at any time during the course of the camp. I accept responsibility for payment of all expenses associated with such treatment.
I understand that there will/may be photographs or video footage of my child that may be used to promote future events. I authorise for my child's photograph, picture or likeness, and voice to appear in any marketing collaterals without compensation.
